| Zhang O 张鸥 (b. 1976 Guangzhou, China) received an MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art, London, UK in 2004, an MA in Fine Art from the Byam Shaw at Central St. Martins School of Art in 2001, and a BA in Fine Art from the Central Academy of Fine Art, Beijing, China in 2000. Recent Awards include Bellagio Center Artist Fellowship, The Rockefeller Foundation, Wilson Centre for Photography fellowship and Fuji Film Student Awards (London). Selected solo exhibitions include CRG Gallery, Pekin Fine Art Gallery (Beijing), IMT Gallery (London), Chinese Art Center (Manchester, UK). Selected group exhibitions include Joan Miro Museum, Ch’i Contemporary Fine Art Gallery, Deutsche Bank Gallery, Kunsthalle Museum, (Hamburg), Museum of Modern Art (Salzburg), Museum of Contemporary Art (Shanghai), Millennium Monument Art Museum (Beijing). He is represented by Pekin Fine Arts. O Zhang lives and works in New York and Beijing. |
