Kira Kim (b. 1974 Korea) received an MFA from Goldsmiths College in London in 2007; an MA in Environmental Sculpture from Kyoung-Won University Graduate School in Kyunggi Province, Korea, in 2002; and a BFA from Kyoung-Won University in Kyunggi Province, Korea, in 2000. Selected solo exhibitions include A Republic of The Propaganda at Loop Gallery in Seoul (2008); A Palace of Mirages at King's Lynn Arts Center in Norfolk, UK (2007); and Gagami V - Je t'aime, Moi non plus at Paris Cite 8 in Paris (2006). Selected group exhibitions include Busan Biennale in Busan, Korea (2008); Nanjing Triennial in Nanjing, China (2008); Cerlin Art Prize at LSO Space in London (2008); The Armory Show in New York (2008); and Hello, Mr. Namjun Back at the Korean Cultural Centre in London (2008). She is represented by Whitecross Gallery in London. Kira Kim lives and Seoul and abroad.
