Young-Hae Chang Heavy Industries is a Seoul-based Web art group founded by Young-Hae Chang (C.E.O) and Marc Vogue (C.I.O). In 1999, Young-Hae Chang was artist-in-residence at MAAP (Multimedia Art Asia Pacific) and won an Honorable Mention at the SFMOMA Webby Awards the next year. She completed web-based projects for the New Museum of New York, ISEA 2000 Forum des Images, Biennale Interferences, Flash Art for the Net.congestion International Festival of Streaming Media, and Web Project 8 for the Total Museum in Seoul. Together with Marc Vogue, they combine text with jazz to create web-based New Media work, writing in three different languages. In 2000, their work was recognized by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art for its contribution to Online Art.
