Chen Xiaoyun 陈晓云 (b. 1971 Hubei Province) graduated from the traditional Chinese painting department of the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou in 1992. In recent years, his focus has been moving images and photography. Significant exhibitions include the 2005 Yokohama Triannale, Move on Asia at SBS in Seoul, and the 2004 Shanghai Biennale.

Chen Xiaoyun lives and works in Hangzhou.  He is represented by  Goedhuis Contemporary Gallery in New York.
